PkgEditor is a free and open source program which allows you to read and edit files in PKG format for PlayStation 4. The goal of this software is to help any user to work on their PS4 homebrew projects without having to use a proprietary SDK. Thanks to this app, you can edit any PS4 PKG and work on personal projects, in SFO or PFS format.
Easy-to-use software
Using PkgEditor is very simple. All you have to do is unzip the contents of the compressed file in a folder and double-click on the executable. And that's it. Then you can open any PKG, SFO or PFS file by simply selecting it. If you have any PS4 game in PKG format, for example, you can open and export it to GP4 in a matter of minutes. With this software you can carry out a number of operations, so it is best to only use it if you know exactly what you want to do with it.
The tool for PS4 homebrew
Download PkgEditor if you want to create your own PlayStation 4 homebrew software or simply play with a PS4 emulator. Thanks to this simple tool you will have a graphical interface where you can build your PKG files. The PkgTool software, by the same developer, has no graphical interface and is more oriented to scripting, while LibOrbisPkg aims to integrate PKG, SFO and PFS functionalities into C# apps.
